If you want to donate money, the following Ukrainian charities are both frequently recommended by Ukrainians as charities that are actually helpful. Every bit helps, even a just few dollars contributes to the larger picture of Ukraine defending their homes, their language, their culture, their history, and their very existence.
Whatever you do, do not donate to Amnesty or the Red Cross. Ukrainians have seen them both help Russia and promote Russian propaganda. You might get a tax break donating to these large organisations, but they also actively deny assistance where it’s needed.
