The First Day of Autumn

Anna Papij

It’s the first day of Autumn, and I deleted all my blog posts. Hundreds of them. I’m not entirely sure why, but I felt like I needed a clean slate. It was feeling messy. Cluttered. More unruly than even I.

I hadn’t blogged much in the past year anyway, so most of it was old. Some of it was good. Some was downright rubbish. Not that it really matters for a blog, but clearly I felt like it wasn’t worthy of sticking around.

I am not sure what I will do in this pocket of the internet. I am not even sure if I want an online blog. Most of my ramblings (and I’ll be honest – sometimes they really are worth a read) get fed to my email list. I deleted the Facebook app from my phone. I barely have the energy for Instagram. I guess I am finding that the most important stuff for me is official song releases and real world publications, and the random ramblings all go straight to my email list. I just don’t get around to putting it here.

For now, I recommend you look around this page to sign up to the email list. It is a genuine insight into Anna Papij’s World. And let’s face it – that world is more unreal than it is real.
